| By staying in a Swiss host family, you will be introduced into Switzerland’s daily life. Become familiar with other customs and traditions: different food, unusual manners, weird hobbies and all that in a foreign language!
It is one of the main targets of our Organisation to develop sympathy amongst different cultures and continents. Creating new friendship, broadening personal horizons and live through wonderful experiences are things you just shouldn’t miss… Encounter means benefit for guests and hosts! |

You can very easily combine your stay in a host family with other offers from the Youth Service by enrolling for a language course or by getting an insight into training possibilities in Switzerland. Do you prefer to register for a camp or take part in a trip? Take your pick from the attractive modules and combine them to create your own unforgettable stay in Switzerland!
The host family receives no reimbursement for your board. They volunteer to do it free of charge, out of pure interest in welcoming a guest from another culture. We therefore expect you to respect and appreciate this generous hospitality.
